Finally. Yep, I FINALLY got around to actually getting the GreenStraw Creative t-shirt designs on actual thread! However, I went with an entire new look. You might be familiar with the old designs I posted almost a year ago. I pondered the idea of anyone wanting to really wear a green bendy straw on their chest. Don’t get me wrong, I think Sip (yes, I named my straw) is adorable. However, he wasn’t my ideal design to start my new apparel line. Yes, I have high hopes for these shirts! So I set out to design a new logo that I thought would articulate well for a t-shirt. A few hours later, I had a couple of designs down and ready for thread!
Over the weekend, I went to Thornton Park’s Mother Falcon Clothing. A trendy lil shop nestled in Thornton Park printing any design you want on to your choice of any colored American Apparel shirt. I expirimented with the shop a week ago picking out a generic design and printing it wherever I wanted on the shirt. Perfect. I went in this weekend with a USB drive holding my designs (they can take any form of graphic you have) and picked some v-neck shirts to print them to. An hour later, I had some of my very own GreenStraw Creative t-shirts. The first set of many!
(If you’re interested in sporting your own GSC threads, express the interest and I’ll start setting up the GSC Apparel store.)
