Whew! Before we hit the second month of our new year, I flipped the switch on the new site.
Love it or hate it - it’s still a work in progress. If you prefer the old flash site, head on over. It’s still up and running. I just don’t promise to update it. Deal? If you’re interested, I’ll give you a little insight on the new look and design.
First off, nixing the Flash for a little bit. I wanted to get a site up that was a little bit more search engine friendly. I kept with the same look and feel (pink on black) to match my overall identity. You’ll see that recurring color scheme on all of my little homes on the web and my business card.
Wordpress. I decided to throw Wordpress on the server and style it to my likings. So far, we’ve gotten along.
Portfolio. I’ve decided to let the work speak for itself. It’s still categorized in the same fashion. I’ll be adding my 3D and Vector portfolio pieces soon. Some of you may like the scrolling and some of you may turn your head away from it. But I wanted to get away from the constant clicking through my pieces of work on the old Flash site. Just in case you were looking for something specific. Now you don’t have to “blind navigate” as I like to reference it as.
I haven’t added the music on it by a good friend of mine, Dru Finnie. Shall I add it back? You can decide.
And lastly, I’ve jumped on the Twitter bandwagon. As if you were really interested, you check the Twitter and the bottom of my page. Don’t let it turn into a stalking behavior!
