Yep, I moved all of the belongings (sans a futon mattress, computer, wireless router, toilet paper and clothes) back up to Orlando this weekend.
As some of you may know, I accepted a job as an Interactive Art Director for Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group. My last day in Miami will be March 14th. And until then, I will be using the computer to keep me occupied.
A list of things I will miss in Miami:
- Balan’s Sunday Brunch.
- The view from my balcony.
- Green St. Cafe breakfast.
- Being steps away from the beach.
- Jamba Juice.
- Seeing Linette every day.
- Being able to pay street parking with a credit card.
- Having a TV in my office.
A list of things that I won’t miss in Miami:
- The Cubans above me.
- My hour drive to work.
- Traffic.
- Spanish language barrier.
- My rent costing more than my mortgage.
- The sea gulls waking me up on a Saturday morning.
- The high cost of living.
- The handful of Chick-fil-A locations.
- Waiting for an elevator to get into my place.
