Starbucks has launched a new social site. No, it’s not another site launched that urges you to create a profile and find your friends. This site has a purpose … if you’re a fellow addict.”My Starbucks Idea” was designed to take their customers’ (and employees’) suggestions on how to improve customer service. This is a great idea on one condition, if they read the comments and suggestions and try to implement them. Of course not all of them but here are some of the suggestions I vote for as well:
- Baristas wearing name badges.
- Free wireless.
- Customer loyalty program. (Buy 9 - get the 10th free.)
Way to go Starbucks. It’s a step up from that PR stunt of closing your doors for 3 hours in the middle of the afternoon.
