
Today, I unveil the new name to replace C2 Media. Anyone who knows me will understand the significance behind the newly chosen name.
Ok ok, I’ll explain.
I drink two Starbucks a day. Something always iced or cold. Picking the green straw that protrudes out of my lovely plastic cups symbolizes my two vices - creativity and coffee. What better way to brand myself with something that is a part of my everyday life and once in a while, fuels my brain for creativity.
I’ve posted some logo ideas to start the branding process. You’ll note the use of a bendy straw. You might be saying to yourself, “Self, Starbucks doesn’t use bendy straws!” Exactly. Let’s not get into a corner with more trademark infringement or stealing the exact green of Starbucks. Let’s give it some Cowdrey Creative Flair. (No - that wouldn’t have made a great business name.)
So there you have it. I have the paperwork filled out and the check signed. Now the hard part … designing the business cards, changing all of the C2 Media social websites to reflect the GreenStraw Creative look. Time for a new color palette. Out with the BLINK (black and pink) and in with the <insert new color palette here>. Have any comments on the new logo choices … post ‘em people!

I like how the colors pop in A. but the font choice makes me think lawn care company for some strange reason. I am also a bit drawn to orange in D. but I think overall I like E. the best… If I could change one think about it though, I would brighten it up a little or just darken up the words so they don’t appear so washed out.
